Today in this article we will cover the most important part i.e. “Verify Your Site With Google”
We’ll cover site verification with Google in three parts:
- Add site to Google Search Console
- Copy and paste HTML Tag to WordPress site
- Verifying from both sides.
The reason for connecting google search console is it helps us to detect the errors or problems google detects on a website.
So we’ll do the first part in Google and copy the result to our clipboard, for the second part, we’ll paste that into WordPress, and finally, we’ll press a button that says Verify.
1 STEP -ADD SITE TO GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE
Let’s go to Search Google Search Console. We have the URL to Google Search Console (https://www.search.google.com/search-…}
or you can just search for it on google. Now. First thing’s first. Verify your current account to make sure you’re logged in, correctly.
NOTE: PLEASE CHECK YOU HAVE LOGGED IN, CORRECT EMAIL ID

And If in case you’ve verified another site previously, you could see this right away, or you might have to go up to the dropdown to Add a Property from there.

Both ways are acceptable, the main aim is to add our domain.
So, now if you are new users and your website is not registered before, your dashboard will appear like this.

Add the domain in URL Prefix, copy the site URL properly and perfectly.
EXAMPLE:
http://vdoming.com/
And once we’re done with that?
2 STEP – COPY PASTE HTML TAG TO WORDPRESS SITE
We only have to grab one thing from the HTML tag. (We want to highlight everything in between the quotes that are part of the content.)

Here’s the problem: you might not be able to select the stuff between the quotes easily. But there’s another way.
Just copy the whole thing to our Google Docs or Notepad – and when we do this, we’re just using it as a place to more precisely select the stuff between the quotes… and copy that way. That’s it.
NOTE: COPY THE STUFF IN BETWEEN “” & ADD TO YOUR WORDPRESS SITE
Step 1 done. Step 2. Let’s add what we just copied to our WordPress, Yoast SEO plugin.
WordPress setting
- Login WordPress Website
- Install Yoast SEO Plugin
- Once installed, go to dashboard bottom left side, you will see Yoast SEO plugin Symbol
- Click on it, and go to webmaster tools
- There you will see “Google Verification Code”
- Paste it and save changes.
Once you have published, you have ready for the last step: verifying in Google.
3 STEP – VERIFY IN GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE AND WORDPRESS SITE
Go Back to Google Search Console? How do we verify it? Press Verify. Done.

Now: if it’s not working,

This popup will come up!
Go back and make sure the value we selected is correct (everything between the quotes after the word content — everything in that HTML tag).
And then verify we brought in that full string (all that text) — verify it matches what we pasted into WordPress.

And of course, verify that we saved and published those changes. If all goes well, you’ll see an Ownership verify the message. Now: If you have more information about site verification, on so if you have additional questions or want to learn more, check that out google search console support. But those are the three main parts: add your property to Google Search Console Cool!.so you can copy the content between the quotes, paste that into WordPress website to save and publish, and finally, press the button that says Verify. That’s the easy and quick way to verify your site in Google Search Console.
